Light Moments at Balai Alegria
I love doing photowalks, in and outside of my work. I feel these are moments where I’m able to slow down, and sharpen my observation skills while simply basking in the beauty that light has to offer. During event coverages, life is fast-paced. I often link it to my sensation of swimming for fitness or endurance. That by the end of it, I feel I had a work out, I’m catching my breath, but I also feel either stronger and sharper… or well beat up from the physical activities. That’s why, I believe, while my work (is) play, I still do have to rest, intentionally. Just an one hour’s drive…

Pili’s Baptismal Day | Mt. Carmel Shrine
It was raining so hard in Manila during the week of this photoshoot. But, by God’s grace the baptism of Pili pushed through and all of us attendees got showered with the warmth of friends and family members coming together to celebrate. The baptism was held at Mt. Carmel Shrine in New Manila, at 9AM. Parents Pam and Miguel invited their best friends to become the God Parents of Pili. Big brother Manu was also celebrating his birthday, and for the reception, it was a super-fun double celebration ( I this reserved for another post, coming soon!). Even if it rained, the plants around the baptistry made our occasion even…

Sofia’s Birthday Bash | Relish Hello Happiness
Small events are becoming widely popular lately because families really just want to get together and make good memories. Often times, these happen when a member of the family is celebrating their birthday. For the Medina Family, this occasion is a double celebration. Sofia, their youngest member has just been baptized at the time of this photoshoot, and they decided to celebrate it in Quezon City, at pretty and cozy restaurant in Tomas Morato called, Relish Hello Happiness. The Family reserved a room, and for a few hours, they were able to spend time with each other, while sharing in the feast that has been prepared. The children enjoyed playing…

Sofia’s Baptism | Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
For pandemic babies like Sofia, their baptism ceremony had to be scheduled a little later than ones I usually meet (3-6 months), so that the safety of all the family members can be observed. After two years of being in the arms of her parents, I finally met Sofia 🙂 She’s my third time traveling -baby friend from this family! And I’ve also welcomed her two older brothers during the baptism and birthdays 🙂 I call them time travelers, because I only get to be reunited with the families that I have photographed whenever they have occasions to celebrate. In between those periods, there’s a lot of growth that happens.…

Celebrating Life with Hannah: A Grad Party Story
LET’S TIME TRAVEL! It’s not so long ago when I photographed the baptism of my godchild, Hannah. And It blew my mind when suddenly she has already graduated from grade school! My heart fluttered a bit when she entered the venue, and quite frankly, I lost my words too! I don’t even remember what I had said apart from “Congrats!” I was surprised at how time has flown once again. And before I knew it, laughter has exploded as more family members entered our beautiful venue in Marikina. We also played some games that the family and kids enjoyed, which my very good friend (Mommy) Meg prepared. We had a…

Ana’s Cocomelon Celebration!
When you’ve been covering milestones for a family for a decade, you begin to feel like you’re somewhat a cousin too! And to be reunited as the pandemic is coming to an end, is nothing short of a miracle. We thank our Lord for our health and His provisions, in this case, we even welcomed a new member to our Time Traveling family: Ana! It was so nice to meet the family again 🙂 We had started our journey together during Darwin and Stacey’s Prenup shoot. And at one point we even appeared in a feature article together at Manila Bulletin! (Thanks to the Picture Perfect Team!) As we reconnected…

Make Happy Moments at Lola Cafe
I’m a huge fan of quality time. It’s the kind of appointment that is actually a ‘time-out’ from the busyness of life in a week, a month or even a year! And though recharging may come in different strokes for different folks, I believe going on get-togethers and feasting on delicious meals will always be part of the list. Following Baby Geo’s baptism is an intimate, program-less reception at LOLA CAFE, just the way the family loves it. 🙂 An exchange of stories, and life’s blessings was happening among family and friends — some even flew in from abroad for the event. Isn’t it amazing how children keep on bring…

When the revered triad of time, health and responsibilities fall neatly on a wide open plate, my goodness! Geo’s Christ the King Greenmeadows Baptism
Every journey starts with a tiny step. And for Justin and Aisel, this tiny step is a leap into God’s plan. A few months ago, they were anointed to become Geo’s parents here on earth. And in response to this answered prayer, we celebrated life together through Geo’s baptism at Christ the King Greenmeadows. This Church is significant to the couple because it is the same place where they got to solemnize their marriage. it has been a witness to God’s goodness in their lives, so they decided to go back to mark a new chapter: A Life with Geo! Want to see more Christ the King Greenmeadows Baptisms? Here…
