Celebrating Life with Hannah: A Grad Party Story

LET’S TIME TRAVEL! It’s not so long ago when I photographed the baptism of my godchild, Hannah. And It blew my mind when suddenly she has already graduated from grade school! My heart fluttered a bit when she entered the venue, and quite frankly, I lost my words too! I don’t even remember what I had said apart from “Congrats!” I was surprised at how time has flown once again. And before I knew it, laughter has exploded as more family members entered our beautiful venue in Marikina.

We also played some games that the family and kids enjoyed, which my very good friend (Mommy) Meg prepared. We had a trivia game, and also a race where cute photos of Hannah were to be rearranged, from birth. 🙂 Soon after this, we ate, enjoyed and relaxed.

Let’s see in pictures what my words cannot capture 😛 Enjoy the photos!

Venue: Delicere Marikina
Event: Family Lunch, Graduation Celebration

Spot the younger brother!
And their younger sister too!
siblngs!
As I was making portraits for Hannah, Grace (cousin) comes in and also strikes her own pose! I believe God makes kids beautiful, and to borrow from what my photographer friends say, “We simply capture them.”
An afternoon well spent! Thanks FAM!
Yes! A picture with my littol fwends! Thanks Ate Anj, Ate Ina and Dominic, Meg and Saint for this photo! And for letting me play with them!

Bonus musings from this shoot/event:

  1. The family can have fun even if there is no program 🙂 Every person can bring joy and laughter to the table, where candid moments can be captured.
  2. A nice and quaint venue with indoor and outdoor options allow for children to have fun on their own, and make their own games, while the adults can bond over coffee and drinks.
  3. Plants, flowers and trees make photos extra lovely , but nothing beats quality time with a happy and funny family.
  4. Good memories are a powerful source of a person’s confidence and strength. And that’s just one more reason to keep making childhood fun and memorable.
  5. When is a good time to make pictures? Everyday! But it’s nice to mark chapters, with photos to remind you not only, of seasons that end, but also seasons that begin 🙂

If you’ve reached this point, thank you for spending time with me! Until my next post! Let’s time travel!
