Fruits and Roots | Bendicion Family Home Coming Shoot
I often get to photograph young families. From newly married brides and grooms transitioning into first time parents, we celebrate milestones together. But I must say, it is also very heart warming to see children come home and catch up with their parents. With numerous opportunities opening up all across the globe, sometimes, having a complete family photo becomes close to impossible. Yet, there are those, who are able to make it work! Like the Bendicion Family. With the news that one of the siblings was coming home to the Philippines, they opted to take time out of their own schedules to be, with each other. Now united under one…

Caitlin’s Unicorn Party | Kidzoona UP Town Center Katipunan
Woohoo! A Unicorn Party! I have featured parties held at Kidzoona a couple of times in this blog. And I still love shooting there. Caitlin has turned seven and what I notice about seven year-old’s parties, is that there has to be some form of play time, or physical activity instead of the kids just watching a magic show or something. They like being part of the experience instead of just being bystanders. I like keeping shoots short and quick whenever I can, so that I don’t take too much time from our client’s program. But I must say… our celebrant Caitlin really loves being in front of the camera…

Dencio Drives to One! | Planas Pantry
“I’m number One!” Meet Dencio, he’s my nephew. 🙂 He just turned one and together with our loved ones, we mounted a DIY Ferrari Party to celebrate his first year on earth! I’m very blessed to have been gifted with crafty, and resourceful sisters-in-law, Donna + Lala. They are the dynamic duo behind the styling of this DIY Party! We enjoy having shoots together because it becomes a time for us to bond, make new memories…and honestly…to laugh a bit more than we already do #bungisngiscrew. We had a pre-birthday shoot, where they sourced and made the props on their own, while I took care of the photography. I would…

Liam Turns One! | Paw Patrol Party
My heart for taking photos has been evolving lately, and fast! I think events like the ARTFAIR 2019 can do that to just about anyone. Suddenly photos are not just mere “snapshots” that one took in this lifetime. But actually, it is very much a piece of history that can tell about a particular day or decade or even century. It’s a clue! A glimpse of how life was, in our case for our little time traveler, LIAM. Meet Liam 🙂 He has turned one, and we celebrated it with a PAW PATROL themed birthday party, in the year 2019! 🙂 Here is Liam and his brother Luis, who adores…

Kendra’s Baptism | St. John Paul 2 Parish, Eastwood
Photographing events allows me to become the family historian even just for a day. With this comes telling about celebrations and milestones that bring members closer. For this shoot, we first wrote in pictures about our cute little celebrant, Kendra. I hope one day that these photos will always remind her that she is loved. 🙂 Baptism: St. John Paul II Parish, Eastwood Reception : Hotel Celeste Cake: Estrels’ Party Favors: Calligraffi ( beermugs)

Event Photography Workshop 2019
In lieu of things all new, I have decided to collaborate with my friends at Training PH for a one day Basic Events Photography Workshop I have always been curious about sharing my passion and skills with others, I just didn’t know when. After ten years of shooting, since I turned my hobby into a profession, I guess, the day has finally arrived. 🙂 We’d also like to thank the Kerygma Conference 2018, for building us up ( on the inside), and helping us launch our classes. Thank you Lord 🙂 On FEB 2, 2019 (1:00-5:00PM), join us at ROTARY CENTER, A. Roces Avenue cor. Mother Ignacia St., Diliman…

Live Awesome!
I was sitting in a class on Creative MBA a few years back when I first saw her giving a talk, and thought, Hey! We went to school together! When she released the “Assumption Handwriting” Font, my friends and I found it really cool because, it reminded us of the days when we had to practice writing during our penmanship classes ( oh hello there, nostalgia!). This cursive, sharp, and elegant style felt like you’re writing in what… high heels or even stilletos! Although that kind of writing I can summon ( only when provoked ), @Mikko Sumulong encouraged me to try writing the way I comfortably would. And the results are amazing!…

Cheryl Rocks Six Lovely Looks for Moms-to-be | A Maternity Shoot Series Part 2
I believe that it takes courage to live life in color 🙂 This is what Cheryl and her sisters did during our photo shoot. They made this remarkable setup, that helped to bring to life … their own back yard! The props, the pillows and the plants were all stuff they have always had. The clothes and accessories too are part of their daily life. It was just a matter of knowing how to put them together in a way they have never seen before. 🙂 If you’ve got this kind of attitude, seemingly ordinary days, will always feel special. You just have to be bold enough to keep on…
